My name is Marcello Cardillo, I am an ICT graduate specializing in Software and Game Design Technology route from Fontys University.
As an Italian / American who was raised in Cuba, I grew up immersed in videogames to escape the reality around me.
Ever since I can remember, I have always loved technology and everything surrounding tech. Lately, I have been enamored with the art of making videogames and every little aspect of it, from designing the mechanics thinking about the dynamics and more importantly (for me) the feel of the game. Videogames encompass the aspect I love the most about coding, and showcases it in a simple yet creatively complex way.
I have always been a hard worker and I actually started working at 16, where eventually found myself working in a logistics company where a lot of my professional experience comes from. I started working in WTDC as an Intern and worked my way up the ranks through sales and marketing and eventually becoming a Senior Customer Service agent, responsible for managing a couple of my coworkers, and all of the inventory of one of their biggest accounts, coincidentally one of the giants of the tech industry which led me down the path to study ICT.
